Sales:
• To lead, develop, challenge, plan and inspire the sales team to successfully hit individual and club monthly new member sales targets. Exceeding all business and club objectives.
• To lead by example, demonstrating expert product knowledge and Challenger Sales skills.
• Deliver excellent customer service which includes the prospects journey, member experience, thus ensuring value for money and member retention is maximised.
• To maintain an active interest in our industry and the local market, including competition, informing your regional sales manager of new opportunities.
• To have an active involvement in the clubs operation, supporting member experience to deliver exceptional score card results as well as having an awareness to achieve the greater business objectives.
Marketing:
• Develop the annual strategic marketing plan for David Lloyd Antwerp in association with the EU Marketing Manager, improving brand awareness in Antwerp and driving enquiries and sales.
• Develop tracking programmes to enable improved forecasting enquiries and sales propensity.
• Developing creative barter relationships with media owners to drive increased visibility in and around Antwerp.
• Develop business development activity to drive awareness of the Club locally and within Antwerp.
• Develop corporate relationships to drive sales from businesses as well as managing events with corporates.
• Manage day to day contact with the marketing agencies to drive the annual marketing plan.
• Write and edit social content across channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook
• Drive database development and communications to members and prospects, developing creative campaigns to enable improved understanding of the brand and drive attendance at in Club events and support.
• Lead translation of marketing materials (creative, emails, social, OOH, leaflets, local press)
• Manage club emails, newsletters & text messages
• Ensure all communications support the premium brand positioning and are of a consistently high level.
Your skills and personality:
• Proven track record of selling and achieving targets
• Relevant marketing experience (event marketing, conferences and sponsorships, etc.)
• Good understanding of marketing principles
• Ability to develop and coach a team to reach their full potential
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate and present well at all levels of the company
• Proactive and independent worker, who also is a team player that can build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Excellent Dutch and English speaking & writing is essential
• Academic working and thinking level
